OLTD 506 Overall course reflection:
Where were you with regard to digital citizenship & digital professionalism and/or the 2 course goals when you started OLTD 506?
Initially, I was comfortable with where I was at with digital citizenship & digital professionalism, however I quickly learned that there was a lot to learn and consider especially in the areas of privacy, safety, misinformation, and copyright. I was able to build my capacity through the readings and research to acquire a good reference list for myself.
Where you are now with regard to digital citizenship & digital professionalism and/or the 2 course goals?
My level has increased substantially, especially around privacy, safety, and misinformation. I have a much stronger appreciation for those two areas. With regard to copyright I will keep the resource information on hand to be able to access it when I need to.
What you might like to do next with regard to digital citizenship & digital professionalism and/or the 2 course goals?
In two ways:
1. Share the information on social justice as I work with marginalized populations, and
2. Share the misinformation information to help build capacity with the organizations that I work with, especially how to check the validity of information.
